As the CEO of the company I always receive the 1st doll of every run generally about 2 weeks or so before production is completed. This is the first time I've ever given away my personal doll but there's a first time for everything. One of our customers anxiously and patiently waiting for her 3rd edition Lady Ivy is also fighting a battle with breast cancer. I wanted to spread a little sunshine her way as she endures her chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Yes...I have met some amazing people through this journey of doll design who have become great friends.
So I decided to ship her MY doll as a token of love and encouragement. Receiving the doll early was such a moment for her, a moment of sunshine and happiness. A moment to not think about cancer but to smile and play with her dolls. I'd like to share some of her lovely pictures which bring as much joy to me as her...And yes she's an avid collector and has all of our Lady Ivy dolls. She's truly a friend I wouldn't have if it had not been for doll making.
You are such a blessing to others!! 🙏🏽❤💗💚❤
This was a beautiful story. May God bless you abundantly because you were a blessing.
What a sweet story! Love her collection. We pray that God heals her body from Cancer.
